Living Room Conversations: The American Dream
What happens when we sit down together to talk, not to debate, but to understand? Join us for a unique Living Room Conversation on the American Dream on Tuesday, June 16, at 6:30 PM at Scarlow’s Art & Coffee.
In partnership with Wyoming Humanities, Scarlow’s Art & Coffee, and Natrona County Library, this community conversation will explore how curiosity can help us bridge divides, reduce conflict, and build healthier communication in our daily lives. How does choosing to be curious change the way we listen, respond, and relate to one another? And what does it look like to stay open even when we disagree?
Facilitated by Cara Rodriguez and Julia Whyde from Casper College, this small-group discussion will follow the Living Room Conversations format, a nationally recognized model designed to foster connection, reflection, and respectful dialogue. Participants will have the opportunity to share personal experiences, listen to different perspectives, and explore how curiosity can strengthen relationships within families, workplaces, and communities.
This free event is open to the public. Space is limited, so register to attend. Light refreshments and small bites will be served.
