This organic growing workshop focuses on building a thriving garden ecosystem using natural, sustainable methods. Participants will learn how to enhance soil health, implement effective natural W**d and pest control, and use organic fertilization techniques for abundant, nutrient-dense harvests. The following topics will be covered with experts in each area:
-Organic Definitions and Overview - Holt Akers- Campbell
-Soil Management - Dr. Charlie Mitchell
-Irrigation and Liquid Fertilizers - Bronson Lubresky
-Organic Variety Trial Results - Sara Paz and Luan Alves
-Organic Pest Management - Dr. Clement Akotsen-Mensah
Hands-on and Lunch provided.
Youth ages 12-15 are welcome and must register and be accompanied with a paid, registered adult. $30 per person.
