Please join us in welcoming Dr. Marc David for a presentation entitled "Living in the Truth of the Cajun Past:Acadian History, Civic Duty, & Authenticity." The talk will take place in the Magnolia Room of the UL Lafayette Union. David (St. Olaf College) is the author of the new book "Remembering the Cajun Past Memory, Race, and the Politics of Public History in Louisiana" (UMass Press, 2025). This presentation is sponsored by the Sen. Edgar “Sonny” Mouton Professorship in Liberal Arts.
