Living History Encounter: 18th-century Weaponry & Tools

Hear history go BOOM! Step back into the 18th century and discover the weaponry, tools and people that shaped everyday life. During this Living History Encounter, experience history in action with live demonstrations, including a blacksmith transforming raw metal into everyday tools. See demonstrations of various weapons by Alexander Hamilton’s New York Provincial Company of Artillery and meet voyageurs and settlers who journeyed to this land and made it their home.
This is a drop-in program; come anytime between noon and 3 p.m.

Age: All ages.
No registration required.
Depending on the weather, the program will be offered indoors or outdoors.
Isle a la Cache Museum is an accessible facility; outdoor activities may take place on uneven terrain.
