🌿 Featuring Alyssa Penner
Join us for an evening with Campbell River artist Alyssa Penner, whose colourful and expressive paintings are deeply inspired by the natural beauty of Vancouver Island.
Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Alyssa grew up exploring coastal forests, shorelines, gardens, and the natural world around her. Today, she draws from these experiences to create vibrant paintings that explore light, colour, memory, and the emotional connection we have with nature.
Working primarily in acrylic from her Campbell River home studio, Alyssa uses bold brushwork, dramatic light, and colour to capture a moment in time and creates artwork that feels both joyful and comforting.
For Alyssa, painting is more than creating an image—it is a form of meditation, a place where she feels at home, and an invitation for others to find their own memories, stories, and sense of connection within her work.
