Living & Thriving with ADHD - a free wellbeing event

It is estimated that over 2 million people in the UK are living with ADHD, including many who have not received a formal diagnosis. This means a significant number of us are navigating daily life without the understanding, support, or strategies needed to live life to the fullest.
Dr Victoria Maddox, a specialist at First Psychology Newcastle, is dedicated to changing that. With extensive experience in supporting individuals with ADHD, Dr Maddox works to empower people to not just manage their condition but to thrive - personally, professionally, and emotionally.
“Living and Thriving with ADHD” is a free, in-person talk designed for anyone affected by ADHD - whether you’ve been diagnosed, suspect you may have ADHD, or support someone who does. Led by Dr Maddox, the event will explore:

• What ADHD really is - and what it isn’t!
• Common challenges faced by individuals with ADHD in everyday life
• Strategies for managing symptoms in a practical, compassionate way
• The importance of self-understanding and self-advocacy
• How to build a life that supports thriving, not just surviving

Whether you're seeking insights for yourself, a loved one, or your professional practice, this talk offers a supportive, informative space to deepen your understanding and discover helpful approaches for living well with ADHD. The event will take place on 13 November at 6 pm at the Sandman Signature Newcastle Hotel, with a limited number of free spaces now available!
