Liverpool’s First Curly Event 🌱

For the first time ever, the city is getting an event made entirely for curls. It’s an evening to celebrate natural texture, learn how simple curl care can be, and finally fall in love with the hair you were born with.

Hosted by Liverpool’s own Romeo the Barber and Meg from The Curl Station, and brought to you by Curljar.

What’s happening on the day?

• Live curl styling and transformations. Watch the experts at work, up close, as curls come to life.
• Specialist advice, one to one. Bring your questions, your frizz and your “what am I doing wrong?” Talk directly to curl professionals from across the UK.
• Simple curl care, made easy. Just real, practical tips to help you embrace your natural hair every day.
• Brands you’ll want to discover. Meet independent local and UK-wide brands and businesses, try products, and connect with the people behind them.
• Cocktails, music and a live DJ. Because a curl celebration should feel like a party.

Who it’s for?

Curly, wavy and coily. Men, women and kids. Whether you’ve been on your curl journey for years or you’re just starting to ditch the straighteners, there’s a place for you here. Come as you are, curls and all.
The raffle 🎟️
Feeling lucky? We’re running a raffle on the night, with prizes from our hosts and the brands joining us. Think curl care goodies, gifts and treats you’ll actually want to take home. Tickets will be available at the event, so make sure you’re in the room when the winners are drawn at 7:00pm.
The venue ✨
We’ve taken over the whole of Yonder, one of the Baltic Triangle’s best-loved independent cafés, just for the night. It’s cosy and full of light, with famously friendly staff, which makes it the perfect home for an evening that’s all about feeling welcome, being yourself and celebrating together.
