About this Event

On 24th–25th September, the HealthTech Design Studio team at the University of Liverpool is hosting a two‑day hackathon bringing together innovators from across the Liverpool City Region to tackle real health and care challenges. Whether you’re an SME, entrepreneur, creative, technologist, clinician, researcher, or a resident with lived experience, this is your chance to shape solutions that matter.

Participants will work on challenges grounded in local insights, community conversations, and system‑wide priorities – supported by technical experts, prototyping materials, and data resources.

The hackathon gives you space to test ideas, build skills, and connect with collaborators. After the event, attendees can apply to our open Innovation Sprint funding call - awarding up to £25,000 to develop project ideas.
