We have designed a special mini live well retreat on Sunday, October 26 at Timbre, a modern wellness collective that provides today’s health-forward community with an innovative mix of of nutrition, fitness, wellness and lifestyle modalities along with space to work, congregate and connect in a distinctive urban setting in Fells Point for you to dive into yourself and our beautiful community which involves: yoga, meditation, breath work, creativity, acupuncture, nutrition and a magical spread of food and drink for lunch from Pitango in Fells Point.
The morning will begin with coffee and tea and then we will start with some movement practices. The mini retreat will run from 10:00am-3:00pm and includes everything above, all you need is your yoga mat.
Marissa Walch will be guiding you through most of the day on your mat and during the creative activity. She is a full-time, certified fitness, wellness and yoga professional based on the east coast and owner of live well, The Studio. She has worked in the fitness and wellness industry for more than a decade, and she loves to share her knowledge and passion for living a healthier life with her clients. During the day you will have the opportunity to get acupuncture from Dr. Jess Clayton. She holds a Doctorate of Acupuncture from Maryland University of Integrative Health and has over seven years of experience in private practice in Towson, Maryland. Specializing in fertility and chronic pain, she uses acupuncture and other Chinese Medicine techniques to create personalized treatment plans that address root causes, not just symptoms. Inspired by her own healing journey, Jess emphasizes patient empowerment and fosters a warm, judgment-free environment to cultivate a strong healing partnership with her patients. You will also get to learn from registered dietitian Emily Kean. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN), Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), RRCA certified running coach, and registered yoga teacher (RYT-200). Emily enjoys sharing nutrition focused on health, disease management, injury recovery/prevention, and mindfulness. FUEL MINDFULLY, FUEL INTELLIGENTLY, FUEL WELL! Also, joining us is Jess Velky who is a certified 200 hr YTT yoga teacher and Usui Tibetan Reiki Master with over 8 years of experience. She is also a spiritual counselor, blending physical practice with subtle energy work to support deep transformation and self-connection. She leads Timbre's wellness workshops and specializes in creating spaces for holistic well-being and personal development. Jess’s approach brings people together through energetic alignment and shared intention, tapping into the collective consciousness to foster healing and unity.
