Hosted by Bend Park & Recreation District, this year's healthy lifestyle-focused Expo is held at The Pavilion. Free to attend, the event features more than 50 health and wellness providers offering:-- Free massage and spinal health screenings
-- Free blood pressure checks, vein screenings. grip strength testing and balance assessments
-- Support services for veterans
-- Free hearing evaluations
-- Mobile dental care
-- Experts on dementia, stroke, Parkinson's Alzheimer's and more
-- Senior living options, at-home care providers, and home health and hospice agencies
-- Medical insurance specialists
-- Nutritional education, healthy food samples and cooking demonstrations
-- Housing support services
-- Gift certificates, raffles and lots of free swag!
Plus live music by the Bend Ukulele Group, BPRD fitness class demonstrations (Better Brains, Chair Yoga, and Tai Chi), and a free community lunch at 12:00-2:00 p.m. (or until supplies last).
The event is covered and has plenty of free parking.
