Join us at Sun Valley Contemporary Gallery for a captivating afternoon with artist Shirley Yang Crutchfield, whose luminous, hand-gilded works are transforming conversations around beauty, perseverance, and success.

In her first Sun Valley appearance, Shirley will unveil new water-gilded paintings from her ongoing series exploring strength and elegance through centuries-old Renaissance techniques like water gilding, sgraffito, and pastiglia.

The event begins with a relaxed meet-and-greet and refreshments, followed by an artist talk and live gilding demonstration. Attendees will have a rare opportunity to witness Shirley’s gold leaf process in person - an art form rooted in 14th-century Italy - and hear directly from the artist about her journey from successful tech founder to internationally awarded visual artist.

This event follows the Sun Valley Gallery Association Wine Walk and continues the weekend celebration of contemporary art in the region.
