Live Portrait Painting & Drawing @ Griffo

Our Live Portrait Painting and Drawing series takes place on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 2:30-5:30pm and is open to all skill levels. Each session features a different model sitting for a single long pose over the span of three hours and provides a supportive environment for honing your painting and drawing abilities and artistic expression.

The sessions are self-directed and not instructed. Requests for critique and feedback among fellow artists is always encouraged and welcome. The tasting room is open to the public and onlookers can and will come check us out as we work.

This is intended to be a supportive and fun gathering of artists to socialize and network and a chance for us all to share our art passion with others. Come join us for a blissful afternoon of art, drinks, eats, community and mutual inspiration!

Please RSVP to reserve your space. Payment can be made on site.

Please make sure to bring your own art supplies and materials. Easels, paints, drawing materials are all welcome. All skill levels are welcome. Tables and chairs are available at Griffo Distillery and Tasting Room. However, please avoid using smelly painting solvents and be considerate not to make too much of a mess while working. Laying down a few layers of newsprint or some other protective surface to avoid spilling paints on tables or surfaces is a great way to do this.

The cost is $25 per person painting or drawing from the model. Extra tips to the model are also welcome and appreciated and a tip jar will be available for showing extra love to our talented and beloved models.
