Live Performance: Infinite Forms, Woven by the Waves of the Heart
About this Event
Step into a space shaped by sound, light, movement and vibration.
Artist: Kuo Wu
As part of the group exhibition Pending Response, performance artist Kuo Wu presents Infinite Forms, Woven by the Waves of the Heart
A live, immersive performance unfolding through crystal singing bowls, Nepalese singing bowls, gong, projected light and a sculptural environment made from stretch fabric.
Throughout the performance, sound travels across the space and through the body. Light moves like ripples across the installation, while the artist’s movements gradually alter the tension, rhythm and atmosphere of the environment.
Rather than presenting a fixed narrative, the performance invites audiences to slow down, listen and become more aware of their own perception. Blood flows, breath rises and falls, thoughts appear and dissolve, and emotions continually shift. Everything is in motion—yet we continue to search for certainty, stability and a permanent sense of self.
What happens when we stop trying to define the experience and simply allow ourselves to feel it?
Created in dialogue with Pending Response, the performance reflects on waiting, uncertainty, communication, care and belonging. In a world where so much of life is spent waiting for an answer, an opportunity or a sign of where we belong, Kuo Wu turns attention towards the body and the present moment.
This is not a conventional stage performance. Audiences are invited to experience the work from within its shared environment, where sound, light, architecture and human presence come together.
Join us for a unique live encounter—and experience a world continuously arising, transforming and revealing itself through the waves of the heart.
About the Artist
Kuo Wu is a performance and multidisciplinary artist working across sound, movement, light and spatial installation. Through immersive environments and live actions, the artist explores bodily perception, states of consciousness and the shifting relationship between the individual and their surroundings.
Sound instruments such as crystal singing bowls, Nepalese singing bowls and gongs are used not simply to produce music, but to create physical vibrations that connect body, space and awareness. Kuo Wu’s performances invite audiences to move beyond observation and enter a more attentive, embodied way of experiencing the present.
About Pending Response
Pending Response brings together 18 international artists whose practices explore waiting, uncertainty, care, communication and belonging.
Across painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, installation, mixed media and performance, the exhibition considers what it means to live between places, identities and possible futures—and how art can create spaces for connection while an answer is still pending.
Presented by Inku Sphere.
