If you haven’t heard Romi Mayes’ music yet, it’s time you do.Hailing from the prairies of Canada, Mayes is one of the hardest working independent musicians touring the globe today.
In 2024, she released her 7th album, “Small Victories”, which she also sat as producer for. Mayes has become a household name in the international music scene over the last 20+ years.
She is also widely known for her relentless endeavors to support artists in the Canadian music industry through the path she has paved for herself - most prominently with her company Sure Shot Bookings.
Mayes has garnered three Western Canadian Music Awards for Songwriter of the Year, two Western Canadian Music Awards for Album of The Year, one for Blues Artist of The Year, a Juno nomination for Album of the Year, and various other Canadian Music Award nominations.
Over two and a half decades, Romi Mayes has toured Canada, US, Europe, UK, and has shared the stage with the likes of Levon Helm, Derek Trucks, Ricky Skaggs, Billy Joe Shaver, Tom Cochrane, John Hiatt, Jim Cuddy, Guy Clark, Hayes Carll. Avett Brothers, Sue Foley, and many more.
After a 9 year recording hiatus and with the release of her long awaited 7th album "Small Victories", Mayes and her phenomenal band will once again take her sweet and raspy vocals and fine tuned edgy songwriting to stages across the globe.
With no intention of burning out or fading away, Romi Mayes has proven she is here to stay.
