Aaron Kelly is a versatile musician whose work seamlessly to incopororate storytelling steeped in Americana traditions. Growing up on the outskirts of the Chicago megalopolis, Kelly was influenced by iconic songwriters like John Prine and Townes Van Zandt, shaping his thoughtful and enduring approach to songwriting.

After years of crisscrossing the country with Overman, Kelly released his debut solo album, Barefoot and Bottomed Out, in 2016. This marked the start of his journey as a solo artist, drawing recognition from outlets like American Songwriter Magazine for his knack for crafting songs that resonate with authenticity and depth.

In 2022, Aaron Kelly Band released their debut LP, Songs Still Sing, showcasing his ability to marry heartfelt lyrics with dynamic, contemporary soundscapes. The momentum continued with the release of a six-song EP, Letting the Animals Out, on January 3, 2024, further solidifying his reputation as a musician who balances innovation with timeless artistry.
