Join Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures in The Backroom Bar for a special evening of original music & harmonies with Weda Skirts!
We are excited to host this band because they are awesome, talented, and nice! They are excellent musicians, feature amazing harmonies, and their lyrics speak of truth and love. Come join us for an up close and personal evening with the talented women who make up Weda Skirts! In The Backroom Bar you will have the opportunity to hear some stories and interact with the band.
Weda Skirts hail from the Flint Hills of Kansas, where bluegrass, folk, roots, and pop music blend to bring forth a group of original songstress darlings ready to entertain any room. These women continue to grow and evolve as a group, keeping originals as the core of their repertoire, but throwing in their homemade renditions of popular rock and folk songs. Formerly "The Skirts", "Weda" is the universal mother, sister, and daughter, a name that reflects their view of the world and a new chapter in their lives and work.

There is limited seating available in The Backroom Bar. You can purchase tickets online or in person at Compass Point during any event.
The Backroom Bar at Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures is an intimate setting for live music allowing every person in the space to see, hear and interact with the performers. We don't have food. You are allowed to bring your dinner or snacks, you can also have dinner delivered. We have many offerings at the Canoe Bar from event drink specials to mocktails and soda we have something you'll want.
Compass Point is part of the NOTO Common Consumption Area. This allows you to purchase an alcoholic beverage from a licensed CCA vendor and walk through the Common Consumption Area. All drinks within the CCA MUST be in a branded cup from one of the licensed CCA vendors within the NOTO Arts District.
