We aren’t hosting our usual second Saturday dance in August because we’ll all be busy supporting New England Dance Festival, but never fear: we get the extra-special treat of dancing to live music the Friday before instead! Josh Witt is an incredible performer on top of being a dancer himself, so he really GETS how to play for a dance crowd. We’re so lucky to have him performing not one, but TWO acoustic sets for us to jam to!
New to WCS but still want to groove to Josh’s tunes? Of course you do- join Dani for a beginner crash course and enjoy the live music to the fullest.
We have residential neighbors at this venue who appreciate their sleep and their resident-only parking spots. Please monitor your volume outside of the venue and take care not to park in marked resident spots or on the left-hand side of the garage (the right side is safe after the hours posted on the signs).

ABOUT JOSH
Josh Witt is a performing musician, bandleader, and joy-filled swing dancer! He has performed for dancers of both Lindy Hop and West Coast Swing, solo and while leading a band. Josh’s voice conveys angst and adversity through passion and joy, with the ability to tap into both grit and silky sweetness. His playing is embodied and rhythmic, and the feel and tempo are perfectly placed as if curated by a fellow Westie (hint: they are).
Josh is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and has been performing in Greater Boston for 9 years. He has been taking stages by storm for more than 2 decades. Ever since he performed his blazing piano/vocal rendition of Great Balls of Fire as a bright-eyed 9-year-old with wild curly hair, Josh knew he was born for the stage.
