Ida Jane, a member of Ida Jane and The Weekend Gardeners, plays a mix of indie rock and alternative americana. Ida performs mostly original songs but may add a few choice covers into the set from time to time as well. Her sound has been likened to that of Lucinda Williams, Mazzy Star, and Fruit Bats. Bands such as Neil Young, The Velvet Underground, and Kacy and Clayton have been musical inspirations to her.
