Join us for an unforgettable night of live music and entertainment at Compass Point, home of Dirty Girl Adventures. It will be a perfect evening to relax, dance, and socialize on The Courtyard!
6:15. We will start the evening with East of Abilene, an awesome bluegrass band from Lawrence. These guys are good and tons of fun!
7:30 The Beer Bellies take the stage! The Beer Bellies have been playing live, local music forever! Featuring two Kansas Music Hall of Fame musicians, this band will get you up and dancing, toe-tapping, and smiling!
The band features Carol Spears, inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame in 2022. In 1974, Carol joined her father’s band, 2009 KMHoF inductee Billy Spears. Playing twin fiddles with her father and singing in her own unique style, Carol played festivals and nightclubs from New Mexico to Colorado to Michigan and all across the Midwest. Carol has had the pleasure of opening for acts such as Asleep At The Wheel, Leon Russell, and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, to name a few. For the last 20 years, Carol has been singing and playing with The Beer Bellies, a band originally formed by her late father and his friends.
Pedal Steel player Lynn Pillar was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame in 2010 with Tree Frog. Lynn is an amazing pedal steel player who continues to wow audiences with his playing

Compass Point is part of the NOTO Common Consumption Area. This allows you to purchase an alcoholic beverage from a licensed CCA vendor and walk through the Common Consumption Area. All drinks within the CCA MUST be served in a branded cup from a licensed CCA vendor in the NOTO Arts District.
