About this Event
About this Event
Experience the sounds of Taiwan with Formosan Groove, a Taiwanese-American ensemble blending traditional Taiwanese music with jazz, neo-soul, and global rhythms. Enjoy an energetic evening of music, culture, and improvisation in the creative atmosphere of Old Town Alexandria.
“A church kid from rural Alabama, a hoverboard-riding Italian from Long Island, an aspiring Jewish cantor from the capital, and a fretless-funk bassist from fucking Iowa, walk into a basement and come out screaming about heartache and hot moms. That’s the Scuffed Animals."
