Live Music On the Patio with local musician Lyle Mantz
His music life started at age 13 playing bass in a top 40's of the 40s / polka band – Earl and The Magnatones. High school was dabbling around in a folk type band. Then school , marriage, life kicked in. He did get to relive the polka life in Gypsy Joe and the Emeralds, again as a bass player and eventually morphed into Knight Watch for a time. A long hiatis followed, filled with career, family, and life. About 14 years ago he decided to pick up his guitar and play solo acoustic songs. Over About Acoustic Lyle
Acoustic Lyle is a folk and Americana performer. Some of his favorite songwriters are John Prine, Paul Thorn, Todd Snider, and Jason Isbell. You might say he is a collector of storyteller and folk songs. Many of his songs he plays reflect the essence of everyday life or grab you by the feels.

Over the years he performed in open mics, small venues, and just enjoyed playing. Most of his songs are not mainstream but loves to look out in the audience and that one person smiling and singing along.
Focusing on solo acoustic performances, Lyle continues to share his favorites in this chapter of his musical journey.
Whether you're a fan of folk / storyteller music or new to the genre, Lyle hopes there's at least a song or two that leaves an impression or speaks to your everyday life.
