Would you like to be a part of a conversation that uncovers what a thriving live music scene looks like for Moonee Valley and canvass the challenges, opportunities and strategies for growth of the local live music ecology with Council representatives? We’re interested in hearing the views of local residents, business owners, artists and musicians.
If you want to share your views and have your voice heard, come along and join our Live Music Industry Forum
Representatives from Live Music Office, Music Victoria and Moonee Valley City Council will, with your help, uncover the path to a vibrant local live music scene.
All are welcome: whether you’re a musician, producer, business owner, or just a resident who loves a live show!
Doors open at 5:30pm and the forum will run from 6pm to 9pm on 27 February 2025 at the Clocktower Centre.
The Forum will include:
- an in-depth discussion of the current challenges facing live music in the municipality,
- how to make live music spaces accessible and profitable,
- and what a flourishing music scene might look like in Moonee Valley.
The information gained from this discussion will then be referred to by Council to inform the development of a Live Music Action Plan or similar document.
Warm canape food will be served, drinks available from bar.
Please note registration is free but tickets are essential for catering purposes.
