Paul and Cyd of Hey Poncho are both capable singers in their own right and together harmonise beautifully.Hey Poncho’s set up revolves around the latest state-of-the-art Alesis SR-18 foot controllable drum machine. This unit can be controlled from the floor including tapping in a tempo and hundreds of different drum rolls at the touch of a pedal.
Hey Poncho don’t use any recorded backing tracks or sequencing… so what you basically get is a rock three-piece band of guitar, bass and drums which keeps the feel real.
(The boys think their drum machine is alive… even naming it Al).
Hey Poncho’s set list spans over five decades with tunes from the Beatles and the Rolling Stones right up to the latest tracks from the likes of Kings of Leon and The Fray.
