Band Info:
Initially formed as the house band for the Magic Lantern Cinema in Tywyn, Gwynedd, The Magic Lantern Band have just finished recording their new album, and are in the middle of planning a 'mini tour' around Wales and the borders - including a visit to Rhoscolyn Chapel!
The Magic Lantern Band is a five-piece made up of Vocals & Acoustic Guitar, Tenor Sax, Electric Guitar, Bass and Drums. They interweave elements from a wide range of genres within our music, drawing from many different influences such as Soul, Folk, Indie and Grunge - resulting in an atmospheric, punchy and inimitable soundscape. They describe their music as Groovy, Soulful & sometimes Psychedelic!
