Aakash Sridhar is a pianist from Bangalore, India, showing honest emotions through unique, fresh, and captivating melodies in these unpredictable times. He started playing the tabla at the age of six, and ever since, music has always been a part of his life.
He initially pursued a Computer Science degree and regularly performed as a keyboardist after he was inducted into the college music band. During this span of time, he won laurels in several cultural competitions primarily in the style of Indian music. He was also awarded the opportunity to attend a workshop hosted by Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music, which opened his mind to other genres of music and the world of improvisation. It was at this point of time that the importance of getting a good musical education became apparent to him, leading him to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Writing and Production at Berklee College of Music, Boston.
