All That Jazz is an exiting new group based in the Swansea area. The core members are regulars on the local jazz scene and met through Swansea Jazz Club.
Ellie Jones on vocals has sung all over South Wales with her groups Ellie Jones Jazz and the Sonho Jazz Duo. Martin Sutton on tenor sax/clarinet also plays lead alto sax with Constellation Big Band, baritone sax/clarinet with Morriston Big Band and is a regular on the Gypsy Jazz scene including the Toot Sweet duo and regular depping with Gypsy Jacques. Mike Ashford on piano is a popular regular at jazz club jam sessions. They are joined for this gig by the amazing Chris Davies on bass and Dewi Davies on drums.
The group offers new arrangements of swing classics, mixed with lively Latin and pop fusion, perfect for dancing or just sitting back to enjoy the jazz vibe.
For this gig in the interval there will be a Lindy Hop taster session with our local dance teachers "Swingsea" Lindy Hop Dance Club, suitable either for beginners or experienced dancers.
£5 entry. Music from 8pm.
