Spring is on the horizon; it’s time for a refresh! Join Shelley (Wood-N-Things), & Jackie (Journey Bound), for some fun and creative expression. In this collaborative class, we will explore the fundamentals of mixed media art in a precut wood surface to create a beautiful 3-piece shelf decor item in the color of your choice. This is a comprehensive course for basic mixed media, in which attendees will learn a full range of techniques with hands-on instruction. Such techniques will include learning resin basics, application then we’ll unify everything using gesso, metallic wax, water-based varnish and decorative finishing touches like spindles and fabric.
There is no experience needed, everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us!
Ages 15+
$45 per person - class fee includes all supplies, materials and instruction needed.
