Afternoon Tea will be taken in The Long Hall situated within The Coach House that is in the beautiful grounds of Athelhampton House and Gardens, a Tudor House which is a popular Dorset attraction. It was quoted by Sir Frederick Treves “that it was without question the most picturesque house in the county.”
Afternoon tea will consist of scones, with Dorset clotted cream and fruit jam, a selection of small cakes and a selection of finger sandwiches including tea or coffee. Please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking so that staff are aware before the event.
Also, included there will be a 30-minutes talk by Owen, the Houses’ Tour Guide on the History of Athelhampton House.
If you would like to visit the House and/or Gardens before the Afternoon Tea, there is an additional charge which has not been included in the event price ticket.
Athelhampton is located between Puddletown and Tolpuddle with excellent road links. Postcode: DT2 7LG
By road on the A35 from Dorchester to Poole or A354 from Blandford follow the brown signs at the “Northbrook” junction and turn left at the traffic lights in Puddletown.
