Enjoy dinner and cocktails while listening to Rebecca Carlson’s collection of originals and favorites. We are honored to have Rebecca join us for our next Live in the Lounge series. From jazz to blues, and everything in between, this will be a performance you won’t want to miss! As always, there is no cover for this event!
About the Artist 🎙️
Born and raised in a small town in Iowa, Rebecca Carlson comes from a family passionate about music. From singing gospel at a young age, to professional performances as a teen, to recording and touring across the southwestern US for over fifteen years, her catalog of achievements and recognition speak to her soulful performing capabilities.
Rebecca studied voice and theater at Waldorf College in Forest City, IA, and has worked alongside many acclaimed artists such as Doug Hamblin in Los Angeles, and Jimmy Sullivan in Nashville. Her pursuit of music and performing has taken her across the country over the years, where she has made a name for herself in Iowa, NYC, Tucson, Los Angeles, and currently Nashville.
Rebecca was a founding member of The Jane Crowe Band and 22 Black, maintained her Jazz and Standard catalogs at local nightclubs and theaters, and truly has become a celebrated talent throughout her music career all over the U.S.
Her influences include Sarah Vaughn, Nina Simone, Linda Ronstadt, and Karen Carpenter, and her bold, resonant vocals reflect her ability to channel these inspirations while creating a powerful yet vulnerable sound of her own! Her high caliber tones, and ability to produce a vast variety of musical sounds are apparent as she performs jazz, blues, rock, country, or soul.
Rebecca has become a recurring staple for our Live in the Lounge series, and we can’t wait for her to entrance us with her gorgeous tunes once again. Grab your friends and join us on February 20!!! ❤️‍🔥
