Model Earth is a new trio with Pete Prezzano (Love All Day Records), Jimmy Lacy (SiP), and Mac Blackout (murals all over town, Mickey, Functional Blackouts), playing synthesizer, melodica, saxophone, and flute. Real tunes and real collaborative weaves.
‘The Shape Of’ features the collaboration of Theo Katsaounis and Donny Mahlmeister. Having played music together for over 20 years in all sorts of composed and improvised settings proved to be a natural extension of their creativity. The main anchors of the music revolve around Theo's intricate acoustic guitar playing and Donny's modular synth lines. We put a tape out for them a few years back and it was, and still is the fastest selling tape we released.
This is going to be an excellent show!!
