We're teaming up with JM Promotions to bring top drawer comedy to Doncaster's most beautiful venue - the fabulous Corn Exchange, and our first line up is about as good as it gets!
Headlining our show is Ria Lina, a Filipina comedian, actress and writer. TV and Radio includes Celebrity Bridge of Lies, QI, Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You, Pointless, Evil Genius with Russel Kane, The News Quiz, Breaking The News, The Bugle Podcast, Worlds Most Dangerous Roads, Brain Reaction, The Unbelievable Truth, The Now Show, Celebrity Mastermind, The Infinite Monkey Cage and Mock The Week. Ria was named as one of The Evening Standard’s ‘Hottest Comedians You Should Be Watching Now’.
Ria is the only Filipina comedian in British stand up and has a BSc in Experimental Pathology, an MSc in Forensic Science and a PhD in Virology under her belt, so it’s not only Ria’s comedy that’s highly intelligent. A regular pundit on Sky News, BBC News, Times Radio and TalkRadio, Ria is in demand for her scientific insight, confident delivery and biting wit. She recently released her own series for BBC R4, ‘Ria Gets Forensic’ which investigated anti-ageing treatments, scrutinising the lengths people will go to cheat age and stay young.
Throughout her stand-up career Ria has taken five shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her work tackling topics such as autism, topical news and racial identity. Her career stretches from stage and screen, to radio and the occasional ukulele – all in a unique style described by ‘The Scotsman’ as ‘fearless, provocative and very funny’.
Opening the show we have Nabil Abdulrashid, an award-winning comedian and writer.
Nabil has appeared on all of the top comedy entertainment shows, including multiple appearances on: Live at the Apollo, QI, Have I Got News For You, The Last Leg and Would I Lie To You? plus House of Games, An Extra Slice, Pointless Celebrities, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and loads more. A practising Muslim, Nabil was also a ‘pilgrim’ on BBC Two’s faith-based show Pilgrimage. He has come a long way since being a finalist and Alesha Dixon’s golden buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent in 2020.
In his first tour show, entitled N.A.B.I.L (Nobody Actually Believed I’d Last), he shared hilarious stories about his experiences of the school system in Nigeria, his return to England, how he spent a short time in prison and started performing comedy upon his release. The show was declared “moving and captivating as well as split-your-sides funny” (Evening Standard) and Nabil praised for his “genuine humanity… an easy comic to like even before he holds you rapt with his various misadventures” (Chortle).
We also have performances from two acts who are making waves on the comedy circuit. Tom Williams was crowned the Gag N Bone Man Comedy New Comedian of the Year in 2025 and is a finalist in the 2026 Ram Comedy Festival New Act of the Year competition, despite not yet being old enough to vote. Nicole Scott only began performing in the summer of 2025, and her tales of life as a perimenopausal millennial with hearing loss and kids she can't understand are relatable and hilarious. Nicole has already become a firm Gag N Bone Man Comedy regular and we predict a big future for her.
Finally, hosting our show is Graeme Rayner, who is a finalist in this year's Ram Comedy Festival Comedian of the Year competition and was also a finlaist in the 2025 Halifax Comedian of the Year Competition.
