Harken Hall announces Live from Laurel Canyon: Songs & Stories of American Folk Rock set for June 4 at 7 p.m. This show brings the legendary music of 1960s and 70s from Laurel Canyon to life through a powerful evening of live performance, storytelling, and immersive video projections.

During this remarkable era, the quiet hillside neighborhood above Los Angeles became home to a community of artists whose songwriting and collaboration helped shape the sound of American folk rock.

The show celebrates the music of iconic artists including The Mamas & the Papas, The Byrds, The Doors, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, James Taylor, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Linda Ronstadt and Eagles.

More than a tribute concert, Live from Laurel Canyon blends beautifully performed songs with the fascinating stories behind them while vintage photos and video projections help bring the era to life on screen. The result is a rich multimedia experience that places the music within the cultural moment that forever changed American popular music.
