This practical, clinically focused course covers the full spectrum of signs and symptoms associated with TOT and provides a clear framework for accurate diagnosis of lip, buccal, and tongue ties—along with guidance on when surgical intervention is indicated and appropriate.
Participants will learn key anatomical landmarks to ensure safe, effective, and comfortable surgical procedures. The course includes a detailed walkthrough of performing releases with the DEKA laser, as well as an overview of the tools, equipment, and practice preparations needed to successfully integrate these services.
Dr. Jo will also review potential intraoperative and postoperative complications, proper wound care, and the expected healing timeline following a release.
