About this Event
Join the High School of Dundee’s Scottish Fiddle Orchestra, Pipe Band, Clarsachs and Singers as they lead you through an exploration of Dundee’s history through music-making and historical readings. From the 1840s through to the early 20th Century with a strong focus on the jute mill industry.
Pupils from the school will also be showcasing the multi-cultural diversity of the High School with various displays from their home countries.
This event is family friendly and open to all. It will be of particular interest to those who love local history and enjoy Scottish / eclectic music.

Info: Dundee has a diverse population and so too does the high school. We want to showcase this diversity with a number of displays around the venue. The following countries will be represented: Bangladesh / China / India / Italy / Nigeria.
