Join us for a Fundraising Matinee at Rural Roots Brewing Company in support of the Coldest Night of the Year 2026. Enjoy live music by Dana K & Howie Brown on Saturday, February 7 from 2–5 PM at 21B Industrial Dr., Elmira, while helping raise funds for Woolwich Community Services.
The Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) is a winterrific, family-friendly 2 km or 5 km fundraising walk held each February in communities across Canada. Participants step outside the warmth of home to shine a light of compassion for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Since 2011, CNOY has raised over $75 million, with 100% of net proceeds staying local to support community charities. Whether you’re walking, fundraising, or joining us for this matinee, every step — and every song — helps make a difference.
This musical duo comes from the band Dana K and The Remedy. Dana K is a musician/songwriter (vocals) from Kitchener-Waterloo who has been singing in various local cover bands (ZED, Jacked, and Covershot) for over 20 years. Howard Brown is a musician/songwriter (guitar, vocals) from Elmira, Ontario, and he has been playing guitar since he was 17 years old. He has a wide range of musical influences and plays in Elmira-based cover band Grüveyard, among other projects.
