The American Rosalie Gant grew up with the traditional music of her homeland. With her impressive alto voice, she breathes new life into the classics and modern numbers of country, blues and folk music. Tillmann Elliesen plays around and complements her singing with the soulful sound of his harmonica or even picks up the banjo for some pieces. The two met at a session - and immediately realized that they shared a passion for honest, handmade music.

Die US-Amerikanerin Rosalie Gant ist mit der traditionellen Musik ihres Heimatlandes groß geworden. Mit ihrer beeindruckenden Altstimme haucht sie den Klassikern sowie modernen Nummern der Country-, Blues- und Folk-Musik neues Leben ein. Tillmann Elliesen umspielt und ergänzt ihren Gesang mit dem gefühlvollen Sound seiner Mundharmonika oder greift bei einigen Stücken auch mal zum Banjo. Kennengelernt haben die beiden sich auf einer Session – und gleich erkannt, dass sie die Leidenschaft für ehrliche, handgemachte Musik teilen.
