Did you know that you can hire a theatre locally? We didn't until we discovered The Old Laundry in Bowness. They've just advertised our next two Live & Local concerts on their Facebook page (please follow and like).On Wednesday 26th February, talented Daniel Crompton will be entertaining with a selection of famous solo baroque cello pieces and his personal musical insights into playing in professional orchestras. Also Wednesday 26th, but this time in March, local professional bassoonist Ursula Leveaux will be giving a lunchtime recital which includes a moving piece called 'What can I do?' by John Steinmetz.
Both concerts start at 1.00 pm and you can book FREE online at www.lakelandsinfonia.org.uk all tickets £10, or £5 for students and under 19s.
Light lunches and refreshments are available beforehand at the Old Laundry cafeteria.
