Michael Foster Project: The Michael Foster Project is a Baton Rouge-based brass band with a diverse repertoire spanning multiple genres—from traditional jazz and Latin to pop and hip-hop. As Baton Rouge’s longest-running brass band, this powerhouse ensemble—rooted in the late ‘90s—has performed on a wide array of stages, from Mardi Gras Balls and Miss USA Pageants to a music festival in China, Sundance Film Festival, and countless other events.
