Join us for an enlightening exploration of Littleton Boulevard's rich architectural tapestry, spanning from the late 19th century to the present day. This educational walking tour focuses on the area's remarkable concentration of Mid-Century Modern (Mid Mod) architecture along Littleton Boulevard.
Your guide, Kimber Dempsey, a knowledgeable Historic Littleton board member and Mid-Century Modern real estate expert, will lead you on a 90-minute journey through this unique urban landscape. She will share what makes the Boulevard and its collection of buildings so unique, and also what Littleton has done to promote preservation and what the next steps should be.

✦ About the Mid Mod Mile ✦
Littleton Boulevard is a treasure of architecture ranging from late 1800s to present day. There are over 80 Mid-Century Modern (Mid Mod) buildings located on or near Littleton Blvd in between Santa Fe and Broadway, many of which were designed by some of Colorado’s most notable 20th century modern architects. This area has become known as the “Mid Mod Mile.”
✦ About the Tour Guide ✦
Kimber Dempsey is a realtor specializing in mid-century modern, vintage, and other unique properties. She is a Colorado native who is immersed in the local market, sitting on the board for Historic Littleton Inc and Docomomo US/Colorado to promote education and preservation of the state’s modern architecture. As the chair of the Colorado Chapter’s Documentation committee, she applies her personal knowledge and experience of maintaining modern properties. Her latest projects include a landmark designation for a Bruce Sutherland design in Littleton, a National Register nomination for South Dahlia Lane, and restoring the Cottle House in the Arapaho Hills historic district, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
