Genya Ravan: Few performers in the music industry today can claim the longevity and respect earned by Genya Ravan. Always a pioneer, Genya formed Goldie And The Gingerbreads in the early sixties, touring behind a string of European hits with The Stones, Kinks, Yardbirds and Hollies as the first all female rock and roll band. Later she resurfaced back in the US as the powerful voice of Ten Wheel Drive, one of the original horn jazz-fusion bands. In the seventies she became world’s first independent female producer, with critically acclaimed records by Ronnie Spector, ‘Siren’ and The DeadBoys, 'Young Loud And Snotty', (labeled “the ultimate punk album” by many reviewers.) During the same period, Hilly Krystal summoned Genya to head up CBGB Records. In 2003 she received critical acclaim for her memoir, “Lollipop Lounge: One Of The Great Tales Of Rock And Roll Survival.” She also hosts two monthly radio shows for Little Steven’s Underground Garage on Sirius/XM; “Chicks And Broads” In which she covers the often forgotten music of female artists from the 40’s to the present, as well as “Goldie’s Garage” in which she continues her long career of showcasing new and unsigned bands.

Palmyra & The Doppel Gang: The New Yorker (by way of Philadelphia) with a penchant for mod and Vespa scooter culture has recruited so many spies to conspire with her that nearly every track on this self-produced tour de force of a platter with backing band The Doppel Gang boasts one or more guest stars. Blondie’s Debbie Harry lends vocals on the first two songs, and contributions abound from a who’s who of punk, garage and power pop demigods including Kim Shattuck (Muffs), Cáit O’Riordan (Pogues), female rock pioneer Genya Ravan (who brings it all full circle on a cover of early ’70s girl-rockers Fanny), Ben Vaughn, Peter Zaremba (Fleshtones), Paul Collins (The Beat), Eddie Muñoz (Plimsouls), “Speedie” John Carlucci (Fuzztones), and even Little Steven himself. "Palmyra is the Lucille Ball of rock & roll" - Steven Van Zandt

GSX was founded by performer-songwriter Sarah Greenwood, (guitar & vocals) a Brit-Swiss transplant (and world ranked skier), who formed her first band and wrote her first songs at age thirteen while skiing the glaciers of Switzerland. Her music mania brought her to Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she won multiple songwriting awards and praise from the press. The Boston Phoenix wrote: “Greenwood has a knack for transforming pain and anger into edgy songs which alternately smolder and blaze with the eloquently pissed off attitude of Chrissie Hynde. Her lyrics are reminiscent of Lou Reed and Patti Smith.” Reviewing the band’s performance, the Boston Herald wrote: “sounds like PJ Harvey without the overblown angst.” During 2023-24, GSX had four songs in rotation on SiriusXm Little Steven’s Underground Garage on both Genya Ravan and Palmyra Delran’s shows. GSX is currently recording a new album set for release in 2025. GSX line-up for this event: Sarah Greenwood (gtr & vox), Jeff Gretz (drums / Zao & From Autumn to Ashes), Pat Harrington (guitar / Geezer (Kingston-based), Alec Morton (Bass / Raging Slab & touring bass player for Monster Magnet)

Tracy City is a gang of salty broads revving the engines of garage rock by way of New York City new-wave queercore. Formed by underground film director Katrina del Mar (vocals), with Monica Falcone on guitar, Genny Slag on drums and Betsy Todd on bass, Tracy City is perhaps the only all lesbian band in the world, formed entirely of perimenopausal proto-Riot Grrrls. Think Bush Tetras meet the Pandoras by way of Gary Numan. Power retro-pop. Devo, B-52s, Gang of Four, Iggy and the Stooges. “Tracy City is equal parts New York no wave and trashy B-movie. Think: Teenage Jesus and The Jerks or Magazine, if they were fronted by The Fabulous Stains or chicks from Jubilee, and directed by Russ Meyer or Ed Wood.” Meet Our Fav New NYC Band: Tracy City” Alexandra Weiss, Oyster Mag http://www.oystermag.com/2019/11/meet-our-fav-new-nyc-band-tracy-city/
