Be part of a major Northcott production – join the Community Ensemble for Little Shop of Horrors
We’re thrilled to announce auditions for the Community Ensemble in Exeter Northcott Theatre’s upcoming professional production of Little Shop of Horrors – one of the most iconic, joyful and outrageous musicals ever written.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for local performers to take part in a fully produced, main stage musical, working alongside a professional cast and creative team in a Northcott production. Following the huge success of our critically acclaimed Autumn shows The Commotion Time and Exe Men – both of which featured brilliant community ensembles – we’re once again opening the doors for local talent to be part of something special.
Little Shop of Horrors is a high-energy, big-hearted musical packed with unforgettable songs, infectious rhythms and bold theatrical storytelling. Our Community Ensemble will play a vital role in bringing the world of Skid Row to life, contributing to the scale, movement and spirit of the show.
For this production, singing and dancing are key, so we’re looking for people who are excited to perform as part of an ensemble, enjoy working collaboratively, and are keen to challenge themselves in a fast-paced rehearsal process. Auditions will take place in June, and will include opportunities to share your movement and vocal skills in a friendly, supportive environment.
You don’t need to be a professional performer – what matters most is enthusiasm, commitment, and a love of live performance.
If you’ve ever dreamed of stepping onto the Northcott stage in a major musical, this is your moment. Join us, meet fellow performers, and be part of a thrilling new chapter in the Northcott’s producing journey.
