Join us for a FREE Nature Play Event at Observation Green, Scott Point!

We’re excited to invite you and your little roamies (all ages welcome) to a series of fun, hands-on nature play events, hosted by Roam With Kids and Barefooted NZ.
There are so many benefits to spending time in nature, and it can sometimes feel hard to do with little ones! For parents with young babies (even those not yet on the move), we’ll have plenty of natural sensory resources for them to explore.
For toddlers and preschoolers, we’ll have nature-inspired art and sensory stations, all designed to connect them with the natural world.
We'll have activities for kids of all ages (including things for older kids), and our setup may vary depending on the age range on the day.
This event will also focus on fostering a sense of kaitiakitanga, or guardianship, of the environment in a playful, interactive way. We’ll explore how we can care for and protect our beautiful natural spaces together, and hopefully you can make some meaningful connections with other parents at the same time.
This event is proudly supported by Upper Harbour Local Board and is smoke-free and alcohol-free.
