Little Homesteaders Cooking Club
Let’s teach our children that food doesn’t always come from a packet, a takeaway shop, or the freezer aisle. Creating nourishing, delicious food from simple ingredients doesn’t have to be complicated or hard work.
Join us for our first Little Homesteaders Cooking Club, where we’ll be making a simple two-ingredient dough using coconut yogurt and a homemade gluten-free flour blend. Together we will prepare, cook, and enjoy our creations as a community.
We’ll also have an organic wheat and dairy option available for families who prefer a more traditional version.
This suits all ages as parents are warmly encouraged to stay and join in the fun and help out when needed. Cooking is a life skill best learned together.
📅 Tuesday 14th July
⏰ 10:00am – 12:00pm
📍 Bowling Club (with a park right behind us)
While our food is cooking, bring along your favourite board games, or if the weather is kind, the children can enjoy time at the park nearby.
💰 $10 per child
👨👩👧👦 Family discount available when the whole family would like to participate and eat together.
As this is a catered event, I’ll need firm numbers at least one week prior so ingredients can be purchased and prepared.
I will also create a poll in the event for allergy and dietary requirements so we can cater as best as possible.
Please note: I know this falls in the school holidays — this first gathering is a trial run, and future Cooking Club sessions will be held during term time.
Come along, learn practical skills, share a meal, and enjoy a slower, simpler way of connecting with food and each other.
