The Early Learning Coalition of Brevard in partnership with Clearwave Fiber will cut the ribbon on the new Little Free Library at the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center.
The public is invited to join us, along with Accelerate Brevard, for a short ribbon-cutting ceremony and a reception afterward at the Brevard Veterans Center. Enjoy light refreshments and party favors!
This milestone marks the Coalition’s first Little Free Library in Merritt Island and the 11th installation across Brevard County since 2023.
"Take a Book, Leave a Book": Families and individuals visiting the center or nearby recreational areas can now borrow, exchange, and share books at no cost.
With 11 Little Free Libraries now established throughout Brevard County, the Early Learning Coalitio of Brevard continues to advance its mission of promoting literacy and school readiness by removing barriers to access in ‘book desert areas’. Families visiting the center or nearby recreational areas now can borrow, exchange, and share books at no cost both inside in the museum library and outside adjacent to the children’s playground.
