This impressive Victorian Fort provides a unique and fabulous setting for our Contemporary Craft Show.

Visitors to our event will be able to browse and purchase from a fabulous variety of original, unusual products, created by some of the finest craftspeople and specialist retailers offering products not to be found on the high street. There’s a superb mix of unique British handmade treasures alongside a selection of unusual products from around the world.

Discover a superb range of artwork, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, ladies’ accessories, woodwork, sculpture and so much more. There’s plenty to appeal to everyone and all styles and price-ranges are included, as well as some fantastic speciality food and drink. It’s perfectly timed for Christmas and a great opportunity to buy someone special a fantastic gift for Christmas.

You’ll be able to enjoy watching some of our talented makers demonstrating their skills and techniques. If you’re interested in a bespoke design, or you’d like to personalise a gift, our exhibitors are on hand to help! If you’re keen to have a go yourself, why not see if you can try your hand at one of our workshops?

If you’re still ready for more, then why not stay for some refreshments and take a “tunnel tour” to see more of the secrets of this fascinating Victorian Fort and its underground tunnels.

The Fort is to be found on Portsdown Hill, overlooking the City of Portsmouth to the South and with a beautiful view of Southern Hampshire to the north. Less than an hour from the M25, half an hour from Southampton, and fifteen minutes from Chichester, and from Petersfield, this is an amazing setting, in a perfect location. What a wonderful way to spend a day out!

Our Contemporary Craft Shows at Fort Purbrook are staged inside the building so there’s no need to worry about the weather. Fort Purbrook is easily reached and is just a few minutes from the junction of the A3M and the A27. Look out for signposting to get you here easily.
