Celebrate the start of summer with our Little Bookshop on Market Street pop‑up at the library! This relaxed, family‑friendly event is the perfect way to welcome warm weather, reconnect with friends, and kick off Around the World in 60 Days. Browse gently used and new books, movies, puzzles, and games for just $1 each, with all proceeds supporting the library.
Enjoy yard games on the lawn, shop the event at your own pace, and soak in the easygoing early‑summer atmosphere. While you’re here, sign up for Summer Reading, pick up your Summer Reading Passport Book, and let the kids collect a free NMPL Buck to spend at the Little Bookshop.
Special Activities
• Hound & Hoof Rustic Ranch will offer free horse rides on Monday, June 1st from 4–6 PM.
• Nana Monna will provide free face painting on Tuesday, June 2nd from 1–3 PM.
• Headstart will be back this year for both days of Little Bookshop running activities for smaller kids and taking questions from families that want to know more about the Headstart program.
• And keep an eye out...there may be a few extra surprises along the way!
