Little Boghead Volunteer Session

RESCHEDULED FROM SUN 20TH OCTOBER

As we move into autumn and the day's begin to feel cooler, our attention will turn to some tree planting at Little Boghead. Bathgate Community Development Trust secured funding from West Lothian Climate Action Network, with some of the funding going towards a variety of tree saplings. We need help getting these saplings into the ground before the winter frosts, and to give them the best chance of taking. Don't worry if you have never planted a tee before, as the Rangers will demonstrate how it is done.

All tools and a full tool safety talk will be provided by the Ranger. If you have some, please bring along a pair of gloves with you, and wear appopriate clothing for the weather. This would also be a good time to break out the wellies! Please bring along any snacks and drinks you require. No prior experience is necessary to take part in the sessions, new volunteers are always welcome!

The session will run for 3 hours, and the meeting point will be at the hard standing around the pump station off of Plessey Road. The nearest toilets will be at Bathgate Lidl Supermarket (3 min drive). Hope to see you there if you can make it!
