Join Teresa, an experienced occupational therapist and founder of Shooting Stars & The Feeding Therapist, for an insightful talk on how to support infants and children in developing healthy eating habits. This informative session at the C'mere Science Festival will cover practical tips for parents and caregivers to ensure mealtimes are a joyful experience for the whole family.
We will explore how to manage picky eating, understanding your child’s hunger cues & readiness to eat and encouraging sensory exploration with food.
Teresa will share valuable strategies to help foster positive mealtime experiences, ensuring that young children build strong foundations for lifelong nutrition.
Teresa is a dynamic and dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapist with over 16 years of experience, working across Ireland and Australia. Her passion for child development and her commitment to empowering parents shine through in every aspect of her work. Teresa is known for her neuroaffirming approach, supporting children of all abilities in unlocking their potential. In 2021, she established Shooting Stars Occupational Therapy Clinic in North Dublin.
As a specialist in complex feeding challenges, Teresa has spent years helping children and families navigate the journey of feeding with compassion and expertise. In 2024, she launched The Feeding Therapist, a groundbreaking service designed to bring hope and practical solutions to families facing feeding difficulties.
