Little Bird Book May Book Club: Discussing "What We Can Know" with old and new friends.
About this Event

We would love to see you at our Little bird book club .

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month in the cafe, to discuss a book that we have read, the ideas behind it, and many other themes and threads that evolve in shared conversation. For May we will be discussing "What We Can Know" by Ian McEwan."A quest, a literary thriller and a love story, What We Can Know spans the past, present and future to ask profound questions about who we are and where we are going. [...] What We Can Know is a masterpiece that reclaims the present from our sense of looming catastrophe, and imagines a future world where all is not quite lost."https://www.londonreviewbookshop.co.uk/stock/what-we-can-know-ian-mcewanTickets include a glass of wine (or tea if preferred). Come with / make friends!
