Litha Ritual ~ Summer Solstice & Feast

Litha marks the turning of the Year from Waxing to Waning. The sun has reached its peak and now the downward trend begins. This day , like the winter solstice, is one when the sun seems to stand still. The next day it seems to move again, but the daylight hours are less than they were. Midsummer foreshadows the coming of winter, yet the hot weather of summertime is just beginning.
